5 Business Summary Frameworks for Startups and SMBs

Updated: Aug 10, 2023

Now that you have a better understanding of the basic structures of a business, let's talk about how to turn your idea into a business. FounderWay streamlines the process into a set of 5 connected digital frameworks. These business frameworks will help you answer the key questions for a successful startup idea.

What is a Framework?

A framework is a basic structure outlining a system or concept. Frameworks allow you to pour your thoughts out in a way that is organized and structured, so you can easily make connections between them. Our digital frameworks are expandable and interconnected, so you will never run out of space or answer the same question twice.

FounderWay’s Business Frameworks

We created our frameworks to help answer key questions from the Ideation Stage:

- Overview Framework: What is your idea?

- Monetization Framework: How will you spend and make money?

- Marketing and Sales Framework: How will you get customers?

- Roadmap Framework: What is your plan to bring your idea into reality?

- Company Setup Framework: Did you do your paperwork?

Certain sections are repeated across multiple frameworks, letting you think about the core elements through different perspectives. For instance, the “product/service” box is in all 5 frameworks, so you will think about your company's product through the lens of market needs, finances, marketing and sales, development, and legal documents.

Get started by printing out the frameworks below or email us at info@founderway.ai for PDFs!

“You don't have to be a genius or a visionary or even a college graduate to be successful. You just need a framework and a dream.” - Michael Dell
